Often a repair of the tap hole and the area directly around the tap hole, being one of the most vulnerable areas of the furnace, is required well before the projected end of the furnace campaign.

When a certain area of the furnace has deteriorated so much that repair is required
already before the scheduled reline date Pirson Refractories is the company to contact for a taphole repair. When possible a repair can be performed from the inside, if the planning does not permit acces from the inside a repair from the outside is possible as well.
